DETAILED DIRECTIONS

1. Depending on where you're coming from, there may be easier, quicker directions than the ones given below. But, assuming that Route 110 in Suffolk is central to most people, and that they will most likely be proceeding north on this route, use the following:

2. From Route 110, make a left turn at West Main Street in Huntington.

3. On the third block from your turn (about 400 yards distance), make a right turn onto West Neck Road.

4. Continue on the winding West Neck Road for 4.4 miles until you find yourself bearing sharply right onto Lloyd Harbor Road.

5. Continue gingerly (it's dark...of course!) on Lloyd Harbor Road until you see the sign for Caumsett State Park (on your right).

6. Turn left at the sign for the park and continue up a hill after which the road will veer to the right. Go past the guard house and you'll see a parking lot on your right. Proceed to the far right side, by the brick wall. Where there is an entrance way in the wall is the observing point. HURRAYYYYY!!! You did it!
